Values

Our Foundational

Values

Core values are not just nice words or things we say to make a good impression. They are the DNA of the Kingdom Impact Network. They are our standards. They are the very life of the kingdom. The early church embodied these values in an extraordinary way. We seek to do the same today.

1. Practice Sacrificial Love

Just like Jesus laying down His life for us, we are called to lay down our lives for each other. KIN embraces this by pressing into Jesus's call for sacrificial love among His disciples. John 13:35 says that the world will know His disciples by the way that we love one another. We believe that the type of love that Jesus is talking about is a sacrificial love. This is the foundation of KIN.

2. Contend For Unity

At KIN, we contend for unity in the body of Christ and the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:3). We believe in a unified ekkelsia that challenges cultural norms, walks in the power of the Holy Spirit, and turns the world upside down (Acts 17:6).

3. Be Spirit Led

The Holy Spirit is our guide in all that we do. He is our legal counsel, our connector, and our strategist. As sons and daughters of God, we are led by the Spirit, and live rich, fully surrendered lives to the leadings of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14, 2 Corinthians 6:18).

4. Collaboration & Partnership

We can't achieve the visions that the Lord has given us alone - we need each other. KIN cultivates collaboration that links the body together, and establishes healthy partnerships that undergird and support the overall health of the body (Philippians 1:27).

5. Radical Generosity

KIN recognizes that God is our provider, and as such, we can be radically generous with our time, resources, and talents. We aim to be exuberant in our giving, radically blessing others because we understand what Jesus has done for us.

6. Fervent, Consistent Long Prayer

Prayer is the engine of KIN: it drives everything we do. We believe that when we cry out to the Lord passionately and consistently, we can move His heart and see the impossible come to pass. Therefore, we don't give up - rather we continue pressing in until we see the breakthrough.

7. Servant Hearted

In the closing hours of Jesus' life, He showed His disciples what it meant to be servant-hearted: He washed their feet. He didn't stop there: He commanded His disciples to do the same. At KIN, we love being servant leaders and expressing our servant hearts because we know it makes us more like Jesus.

8. Kingdom Centric

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33. At KIN, we take this promise literally, and we seek the kingdom of God above everything else. It is our heartbeat, our passion, and our calling - to bring the kingdom of God to earth.

9. Glorify God

As followers of Jesus, we want to be just like Him. This means that we want to glorify God all the time - in the big and in the small things. We actively embrace a lifestyle that glorifies God: in our words, actions, thoughts, deeds, habits, and day to day living.

10. Work With Excellence

Since we are made in the image of God, we aim to do everything with excellence. We know that we are not working for anyone but the Lord, and expect Him to bless the works of our hands as we dedicate all that we do to Him, and Him alone. This means doing everything with excellence, even the ordinary daily tasks.

11. Mutual Trust and Respect

A key piece of kingdom culture is valuing the unique expression of God that every single person is. KIN cultivates a culture of mutual trust and respect. They are not interchangeable - they coexist and are the current of our interactions with others, whether we agree or not.

12. Humility

We always seek to be humble and take the position of humility in our conversations and discussions. This means listening to understanding, being slow to speak, and looking to others as better than ourselves. (James 1:19 , Philippians 2:6)

13. Live Victoriously

Christ has given us the eternal victory, and we don't want to take that for granted. We courageously and boldly walk in our identity and original design, and step confidently into our prophetic destiny, knowing that if God is for us, who can be against us?

14. Choose Contagious Joy

Truly, the joy of the Lord is our strength. Regardless of the circumstances around us or the situations we face, we consciously choose joy because we know that God is the author and perfector of our faith, and is the One writing our stories. We know what He has accomplished on our behalf, so we don't look at the things seen, but to the unseen, eternal things.

15. Sabbath Rest

While it is important to walk in our calling, we move from a place of rest, where we continually cultivate God's presence, seek His face, and rest in a posture and position of intimacy. It is only through this that we are able to do the things that God is calling us to do.

16. Bold, Childlike Faith

We expect God to move mountains. We don't question His ability or His willingness. We believe Him for who He is and what He says in His word. As a result, we actively exercise bold, childlike faith, and as a result, we see God do the impossible in our lives and in the lives of our partners and community.

17. Passionate, Devoted Worship

At KIN, our worship should reflect our understanding of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. Our worship is therefore extravagant, wholehearted, and passionate for our King.

18. Faithful Stewardship

God is and will continue to entrust resources of people, finances, projects, and vision to KIN. We steward the things God entrusts to us with integrity, a fear of the Lord, and with the utmost diligence. We recognize that we will be held accountable for the things God gives us, and it is only through faithful stewardship that God will entrust more to KIN.

19. Operating From Wisdom

KIN seeks out God's wisdom, perspective, and understanding in all that we do. We rely on His guidance for our decisions, planning, and our projects and initiatives. He is in charge, and we depend on His wisdom to achieve anything of eternal value.

20. Stand on the Word of God

KIN unapologetically stands on the Word of God, and looks to the Bible for guidance and direction for everything. The Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, therefore we value the unparalleled power and ability of Scripture to show us the way to execute God's plans, build the ministry, and make choices.

21. Wholehearted Trust in God's Goodness

We trust God. We trust that He is good. We trust that He is faithful. Even if we don't see the results immediately, we know our God and trust in Him with everything that we are. Our entire being - heart, spirit, soul - trusts in the Lord. We know that as we trust God with everything, lean not on our own understanding, and acknowledge Him in everything we do, that He will guide us, bless us, and give us everything we need to accmplish His purposes.

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.
Acts 17:30-31
