From November 14-28, the Kingdom Impact Network had a team in Gävle and Bollnäs, Sweden as part of a teaching and encouragement mission trip. Little did we know what we were talking into! Our team focused on teaching several topics related to our Kingdom Builder's Discipleship ministry we are developing. The topics presented :

While the teaching was powerful, what God was doing was awe-inspiring!
Certainly the teaching went great, as we ministered to over 130 people throughout our trip, and many people encountered the power of the Holy Spirit. However, much more important that that was what God is doing in Sweden. In city after city and church after church, there is a sense of the power of God being activated. As we traveled people had the sense to drive hours to come and meet us. Others shared stories of the miraculous things that God is doing.
For example, we talked to several new believers who have been saved radically over the past few months. In different cases the gospel was not shared with these new brothers and sisters - instead, they simply encountered the power of God. Some literally saw Jesus standing on the stage at church. Others are being led by the Holy Spirit to videos online and are meeting the Lord.
In fact, a recent gathering of pastors from around the country took place, where among other things, multiple people reported stories of people coming to church for the first time asking for urgently information about Jesus. In church after church, there is also a shared sense of the urgency to pray at this time, with new church groups springing up around the country as multiple people at churches are being moved to ask about starting a prayer group.
Perhaps my favorite story is the story of two guys who met for the first time. During their conversation, they discovered that each of them had a growing urgency to start learning more about Jesus - which led both of them to walk into the same church one Sunday.

These are just a few samples of the stories of what God is doing across the country. Our goal at KIN is to support these efforts through prayer and helping to connect and encourage the body of Christ in Sweden. Some of the things we're looking for are:
We're looking for partners with a heart for discipleship and who live in Sweden,
Churches and ministries who currently are hosting prayer gatherings, or who would like to join in praying for Sweden, and
People who want to stay connected as opportunities arise.
